GATCHAMAN - BATTLE OF THE PLANETS

One of my favorite cartoons growing up was "Gatchaman," or "Battle of the Planets" as it was called here in America. It gave me an introduction to superheroes and eventually led me into doing everything superhero related; from collecting comic books to attending comicons.

A group of five genetically-enhanced teenagers who was conceived to fight an international group of technologically advanced villains. They don sleek body glove uniforms, accentuated by their helmets with beak-like visors.

• Princess, code-named "Swan," the team member with ninja-like abilities. This reimagined look is a deviation from tradition styles, where modern technological advances prevail.

• In contrast to Mark's white costume, Jason is shown in deeper colorways as a testament to his edgy personality. Code named "Condor," this reimagined version of a mature Jason shows an image of a rebel who's not afraid to go against the grain and question authority...which is why he is number two!

• Mark, code-named "Eagle" is the leader of G-Force. I reimagined his costume to give it a more sleek and aerodynamic look, and deviated from his adolescent persona to a more mature feel!
